Downtown-Waterfront Shuttle 10,000,000th Passenger!
Visitors
to Santa Barbara enjoy riding up and down State Street and along the
waterfront in a small, open-air, quiet, electric shuttle (pictured
above). The fare is only 25 cents. MTD and the City of Santa Barbara
recently marked a major milestone for the Downtown-Waterfront shuttle:
arrival of the 10 Millionth Passenger to ride the shuttle. Santa Barbara
Mayor Marty Blum and other local dignitaries celebrated in June on the
steps of the Art Museum.
